Our full-service Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day/seven days a week and staffed by board-certified physicians and nurses. With a Level IV Trauma Designation, we care for adults and children with serious and minor injuries, illnesses and other emergent needs including:
- Cardiac Care
- Stroke Care
- Sepsis Care
Should it become necessary, our team coordinates all aspects of inpatient transfers and referrals, including transport via ground (ambulance) or helicopter.
Ambulance & Emergency Medical Services
The Ambulance Department is owned by the hospital and provides 24-hour Advanced Life Support to our community. From basic care to critical care involving inter-facility transports, our highly skilled EMS paramedics respond to over 2,300 calls each year. Our service area covers over 1,000 square miles including Rocky Mountain National Park, which hosts over 4.5 million visitors annually.
