On Oct. 3, 2024, the Park Hospital District signed a letter of intent (LOI) for Estes Park Health to join UCHealth in 2025.
The Park Hospital District Board of Directors introduced a resolution to the public on May 8, 2025, that would allow the agreements to be signed to transfer Estes Park Health operations to UCHealth. A second meeting was held on May 15 to answer any additional public questions and listen to comments.
At the second meeting on May 15, the PHD Board of Directors unanimously agreed to approve the resolution, a process that moves Estes Park Health one step closer to becoming part of UCHealth.
The process continues to progress with anticipated completion in fall 2025.
