The Receptionist/PBX Operator will answer the Estes Park Health switchboard and direct calls to their appropriate place.

SHIFT:

Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm, 8hr shifts *The shift and hours listed above may be subject to temporary or permanent change at any time according to the needs required to provide excellent and full services to our customers during employment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school level or equivalent.
  • Ability to type 60 wpm accurately. Excellent people and organizational skills a must. Computer literate in Windows, Microsoft Office 97.  Meditech experience a bonus.

DUTIES:

  • Keep track of daily mail. Stamp all outgoing mail with correct postage. Sort all incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for all equipment in the business office and in the mail room. Keep paper trays stocked, have extra supplies on hand, toner cartridges, ink jets, paper, etc. Distribute incoming faxes to their appropriate place. Call for service if any machine is down.
  • Daily filing of patient admissions and sessions
  • File daily room charges and other daily charges.
  • Scan daily deposit backup into billing system.
  • Collate secondary claims to primary remittance advice for both UB04’s and 1500 claims.
  • Responsible for the business office inventory; order supplies when needed and keep track of the postage machine and order postage when below $500.00 dollars.
  • Participate in committees as assigned.
  • Perform in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory agency standards.
  • Perform in accordance with EPH vision, mission and goals.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Base Pay: $14.00 – $15.30
