Quota Club of Estes Park

Quota International is a non-profit organization empowering women, children, the deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired in local communities around the world.

More than 5,000 Quotarians - women, men and youth - are Volunteers in Action. They are known for their outstanding enthusiasm and service in 260 communities in 13 countries.

The Estes Park Chapter of Quota International was chartered in 1949 by a small group of women with hopes of raising money to purchase an ambulance for the local hospital. Today, fundraising to provide ambulances for Estes Park Health continues to be a project of the local chapter.

For over 25 years, Quota has offered the Loan Closet to our community. This service provides recuperative equipment to Estes Park residents and visitors.  Equipment includes wheelchairs, walkers, toilet risers, crutches, portable toilets, electric hospital beds, shower and bath chairs.

Quota Club lends these items for a small deposit that is refunded when the equipment is returned. Money received through donations to the Loan Closet is used in two ways. A small percentage goes to maintain or replace equipment. The balance is used toward the purchase and/or upgrade of Estes Park Health’s ambulances. When you see an ambulance from Estes Park, note the "Q" for Quota Club on the side.

Elizabeth Guild

The Elizabeth Guild has been a community partner of Estes Park Health since the 1970s and has raised over $3.5 million through sales at their thrift stores. Their donations each year fund scholarships for Estes Park Health staff continuing education, as well as, critical medical equipment for patient care.

They operate two thrift stores located at 443 and 453 W Elkhorn Ave in the West Park Shopping Center in Estes Park. The Elizabeth Guild Thrift Shop is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and donations of clothing, linens, home goods, books, toys and small appliances are welcome during those hours. Lizzie’s Boutique is two doors down from the thrift shop and open Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lizzie’s Boutique offers higher end clothing, accessories, and housewares. Check out The Elizabeth Guild and Lizzie’s Boutique for your resale needs.

The Elizabeth Guild also hosts a Holiday House sale in November. The proceeds benefit Estes Park Health Foundation and are advertised on the Foundation’s Facebook Page and local press.

Trail Ridge Quilters

Founded in 1991 as part of an Estes Park Newcomers Club interest group, the Trail Ridge Quilters is a group of talented volunteers. They meet each week at Estes Park Health to create stunning hand-crafted items such as wall quilts, place mats, table décor, baby quilts, cloth books and bed quilts. They sell these items during their two annual sales (June and November) and donate 100% of the proceeds to Estes Park Health.

The Estes Park Health Foundation publicizes their events on Facebook and local press. Please join us for their sales in June and November. The artistry and generosity of this group is unparalleled.
